Northwind Technology

Northwind Technology / Private AI. Fully managed.

Private AI automation for CPA and accounting firms.

Fully automate agreed business processes across your tools, from client document collection through follow-up. Your private AI Admin Agent runs on Northwind’s own local servers. Northwind builds, hosts, and manages the system around your rules.

01 / Primary focus

Less document chasing.
More time with clients.

CPA, bookkeeping, and outsourced accounting teams repeat the same administrative steps across many clients. Automate an agreed process from start to finish: your team defines the rules, the agent completes the routine steps, and exceptions reach the right person.

  • Collect and organize client documents against an approved onboarding or monthly-close checklist.
  • Track missing information and send document-request reminders under agreed rules.
  • Keep close-preparation checklists and client status updates current across connected tools.
  • Retrieve answers from approved firm procedures with references to the source material.

Accountants retain responsibility for accounting judgments, client advice, and approval of important actions. The first workflow, tools, and access permissions are agreed before implementation.

02 / Local-first infrastructure

Your data boundary,
defined before launch.

Managed AI Admin Agent: private and hosted by Northwind.

Your agent runs on Northwind’s own private local servers in Orange County, with your business data and workflows separated from other customers. Northwind builds, hosts, and manages the system. This service does not require an onsite hardware buildout.

Onsite infrastructure: private AI at your premises.

For teams that want equipment at their own location, Northwind builds and manages dedicated onsite private AI infrastructure. Both deployment options are private.

Northwind uses post-quantum encryption end to end and for stored data within its private AI systems.

Approved access

Define which records and tools the workflow can access, who can administer it, and which actions need human approval.

Known data paths

Map information moving between the private environment and approved email, calendar, accounting, CRM, or model-provider services.

Managed operation

Agree logging, backups, retention, support access, and recovery expectations for the actual deployment.

Local-first does not mean every integration runs on site. An approved external service may process information outside the dedicated environment. We define those connections with you before setup.

03 / Additional industries

Private AI workflows for law firms.

Automate agreed matter-intake, document-organization, and deadline-reminder processes, with retrieval from approved internal knowledge. Scope access around the matter, team, and support role.

Lawyers retain legal decisions and approval of filings and important client communications. Your workflow rules define which routine steps run automatically.

04 / Additional industries

Private AI workflows for specialized manufacturers.

Automate agreed quote-request routing and supplier follow-ups, and retrieve approved technical documents and operating procedures. Connect the routine process across existing operational tools with defined access to proprietary business data.

Engineering and operations staff approve technical specifications, quotes, and production decisions. The agent completes the agreed coordination steps automatically.

05 / Additional industries

Private AI workflows for financial planners.

Automate agreed onboarding checklists, meeting preparation, outstanding-document follow-ups, and CRM updates. Move routine client operations from request through completion under your firm's rules.

Planners retain investment and financial advice decisions and approval of important client communications. The workflow uses only the data and actions approved for its role.
